On our stay in New Orleans, a family member took us on a boat ride in the swamp near New Orleans. There are various fishing camps or houses built up stilts or very small parts of land where older fishing camps or houses exist. Many of the houses are now gone from various storms and hurricanes. This painting is of a house in one of the fish camps.
