We have stayed at this wonderful island called Manjack Cay in the Bahamas for over a week. It is filled with some trails and options to snorkel in the Atlantic ocean reef and offers good protection for most winds. While sailing in the Bahamas, our first stop for a few days was Grand Cay, a most northernly island of the Bahamas chain of islands. This is a view looking from the dock toward the tiny downtown area of a few restaurants and houses that rent and the public dock.

We biked out to this island on a tall bridge above the island so the view is high showing this dock and Gulf Of Mexico.

This is a 8×10 painting of the red street car. This was painted in early January 2024 but just posted now.

Here is another painting of Sombrero Beach on a sunny morning in February. I am starting to practice my palm trees and various shades of water color that exist as different ocean views and times of the day.

This is a first of paintings of our sailboat in the Florida Keys and other sailing destinations. This is based on some images we took while sailing off of Marathon Florida in the Gulf of Mexico.

We are now down in the Florida keys on a sailboat and starting to paint some local painting of beachy – Keys paintings! This is a painting based on the view from our boat in Marathon, Florida overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.
