Here is another painting of Sombrero Beach on a sunny morning in February. I am starting to practice my palm trees and various shades of water color that exist as different ocean views and times of the day.

This is a first of paintings of our sailboat in the Florida Keys and other sailing destinations. This is based on some images we took while sailing off of Marathon Florida in the Gulf of Mexico.

This is a first of a set of paintings from the Florida Keys. This beach is located in Marathon, FL.

We are now down in the Florida keys on a sailboat and starting to paint some local painting of beachy – Keys paintings! This is a painting based on the view from our boat in Marathon, Florida overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.

On our stay in New Orleans, a family member took us on a boat ride in the swamp near New Orleans. There are various fishing camps or houses built up stilts or very small parts of land where older fishing camps or houses exist. Many of the houses are now gone from various storms and hurricanes. This paintingContinue reading “Fishing Camp near New Orleans”

New Orleans still uses historic old street cars in multiple locations. This is the St Charles line with green cars.

There are thousands and thousands of historic homes in New Orleans. Many have been fixed up and painted in bright colors. This painting is one bright yellow and blue house in the Bywater neighborhood of New Orleans.
