The top of Sonora pass/Highway 108 reaches 9,600 before you quickly descend into the eastern side. Near the top are meadows of wildflowers and dark volcanic rock and scattered trees.



Just on the eastern side of the 108 Sonora Pass, this amazing valley is filled with unlimited painting scenes with mountains, rivers, rural and horses and colors.


A sunny bright day up at Clark’s Fork on Hwy 108.


The weather was cloudy and windy and the light was shifty as I tried to capture the light house and the shores around it.


Bridgeport California is a painters paradise. It’s colors, big sky, mountains make for unlimited painting scenes that classic and comforting.
